Welcome to JaiHoPe – a purpose-driven platform dedicated to enabling meaningful giving through community donations and rewards. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JaiHoPe mobile application (the "App"), its website, features, and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using JaiHoPe, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App or Services.

1. Introduction

JaiHoPe is a donation-based platform where users can:

  • Donate or request unused items for free.

  • Engage in community interactions.

  • Earn Jaiho Coins as a reward for positive actions.

The platform encourages a culture of kindness and sustainability. JaiHoPe is owned and operated by JaiHoTech.

2. Eligibility

To register and use JaiHoPe:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent/guardian.

  • You must not have been previously banned from using our Services.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • You are required to register using your mobile number and verify via a missed call .

  • Users may also sign up using Truecaller for quick registration and verification.

  • You allow JaiHoPe to fetch your verified contact details for a smoother onboarding experience.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.

  • JaiHoPe is not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Platform Purpose and Limitations

  • JaiHoPe is not a marketplace. No item can be bought or sold.

  • The platform acts solely as a bridge between donors and recipients.

  • Users are responsible for verifying the condition, quality, and safety of donated items.

  • JaiHoPe does not offer delivery services; handovers are done directly between users.

  • The platform does not mediate or guarantee successful exchanges.

5. Posting Policy

5.1 What You Can Post

  • Unused but usable items (clothes, electronics, books, furniture, etc.)

  • Non-expired food items (for donation within a short window)

  • Household essentials in safe, working condition

5.2 What You Cannot Post

  • Expired or unsafe items (e.g., spoiled food, broken electronics)

  • Prescription drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or banned substances

  • Confidential documents or sensitive information

  • Items that are stolen, illegal, or counterfeit

  • Any item requiring monetary exchange or compensation

5.3 Content Guidelines

  • All posts must include real images and accurate descriptions.

  • Offensive or inappropriate content will be removed.

  • Spamming, repeated listings, or keyword stuffing is prohibited.

6. Coin Rewards and Usage

  • Users are rewarded with Jaiho Coins for eligible activities like:

    • Donating verified items

    • Referring users

    • Daily engagement and app actions (scratch cards, spin & win, etc.)

  • Important Notes Regarding Coins:

    • Jaiho Coins do not guarantee any monetary value.

    • However, JaiHoPe does not guarantee or promise fiat conversion (e.g., INR or USD) or the availability of any exchange service.

    • The coin is meant for community encouragement and digital appreciation

    • JaiHoPe does not promise any price or value appreciation.

7. Privacy and Data Usage

7.1 Information We Collect

  • Mobile number and device details

  • Location data (with consent)

  • Call logs (only if explicitly permitted, and strictly for security/verification purposes)

  • User-submitted content (e.g., donation posts)

7.2 Analytics and Performance Monitoring

  • We use third-party tools such as:

    • Google Analytics

    • Mixpanel To improve app performance, analyze behavior, and provide better features.

7.3 Why We Collect It

  • To verify your identity and ensure secure interactions

  • To personalize your feed and show relevant donations near you

  • For internal analytics, app improvements, and fraud prevention

7.4 Your Control

  • You may view and update your data anytime.

8. Community Guidelines

  • Treat all users with respect and courtesy.

  • Harassment, abuse, or exploitation of others is strictly prohibited.

  • Coordinate meetups safely—in public spaces.

  • Users must not impersonate others or spread misinformation.

  • Do not mislead others through fake posts or false commitments.

9. Chat & Meetups

  • Users may chat to arrange pick-up/drop of items.

  • JaiHoPe does not monitor private chats unless flagged for abuse.

  • Never share OTPs, passwords, or financial information.

10. Account Deletion & Suspension

10.1 Voluntary Deletion

  • Users may request account deletion by contacting support.

  • Deleted accounts lose all data, coins, and posts. Recovery is not possible.

10.2 Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate platform rules

  • Are reported repeatedly

  • Attempt fraudulent activities or misuse reward features

11. Fake Agency & Fraud Prevention Warning

  • JaiHoPe does not authorize any third-party to:

    • Promote the app for money

    • Offer jobs, camps, or training under our name

    • Charge users for services or features

If someone demands money in JaiHoPe’s name or pretends to represent us, it's a scam. Immediately report it to support@jaihope.com.

12. Use of Analytics and Logs

  • We collect crash reports and logs to improve app performance.

  • We use analytics to:

    • Understand user behavior

    • Enhance features

    • Prevent abuse

Call log permission is requested only with user consent and never stored or misused.

13. Coin Usage & Disclaimer

  • JaiHoPe Coins are issued only for reward, engagement, and participation purposes within the app.

  • We do not promise or guarantee any fixed price, future value, or profit on the earned coins.

  • Users may transfer coins to a listed exchange (if available) for potential trading, but conversion to fiat currency is not assured or guaranteed.

  • All decisions related to coin transfer, holding, or trading are the user's own responsibility. JaiHoPe will not be liable for any financial loss, expectations, or outcomes related to the coin.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JaiHoPe, its team, affiliates, and volunteers from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, legal fees, or expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the app, including but not limited to donation, earning, or interaction features

  • Any content, information, or material you post or share through the platform

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions or any applicable laws

  • Fraudulent, misleading, or harmful behavior, including attempts to scam, mislead, or exploit other users

  • Any investment, trading, or transfer of coins that you undertake using the app or based on information from the app

  • Your expectations of coin price, exchangeability, or profit from the coin, which are not promised or guaranteed by JaiHoPe or By JaihoTech

JaiHoPe does not provide any assurance of coin value, price appreciation, or exchange to fiat currency. All crypto-related decisions are made solely at your own risk, and any losses or consequences arising from such activities are your sole responsibility.

15. Changes to the App and Terms

  • JaiHoPe may update features, policies, or terms at any time.

  • Users will be notified via app alerts or email (if provided).

  • Continued use after updates implies acceptance.
