How to use JaihoPe?
1.) Know what you can donate.
JaihoPe allows you directly with 8 defined categories and if your donation is not among these 8 categories then you can choose other category but keep in mind that whatever item you are going to post on JaihoPe must be compliance with the local and national authorities and should NEVER belong to a category which is banned by the govt.
2.) Obtain contact information.
You need to make sure that you have the option to contact the receiver / donor through the JaihoPe app (through in app chat) and offline (via phone number or mailing address). Insist upon seeing a real requirement to avoid scammers, who may try to get as many items free from the different donor and later sell them or use them for any other activities.
3.) Don't share personal information.
Don't share your any personal information with donor / receiver as you think that is not necessary for giving or receiving items. In some cases, user get friendly over chat and start sharing personal details which might be dangerous, as one can use those information against you at some point of time. Keep limited discussion with donor / receiver, restrict yourself to necessary communication to donate / receive the item.
4.) Look for date of post.
Look for date of post, it wil help you understand that if that posted item is really genuine and useful to request. In some cases donor may post underutilised item which is of almost no use for either donor or receiver. Its better to ask to send more details or picture of posted item before going to collect, it will save your time.
5.) Give directly.
In some case it has been observed that some individual / group of people try to collect free items as much as they can and have people at different places to send and collect it. Later they sell those collected items and your purpose of giving free itema dn helping an individual fails. To avoind this, try to give your items to that person only to whom you have accepted request and have been in communication.
